Pet Agreement and Information form

Most lodger agreements will prohibit the keeping of pets. However you may be willing to allow your lodger to have a pet with them at your property.

If so you need this form – it provides for the lodger to give you essential information about their pet, and includes terms and conditions to protect your position. In particular it provides for the lodger to give you the details of someone who will care for their pet if anything happens to the lodger (for example if they fall ill and have to go to hospital). Otherwise, legally – you are responsible!

The form can be used when you first sign up your lodger, or at a later stage. If used later the form will serve as an amendment to your lodger agreement.
