New Right to Rent Checklist available

February 3, 2016 by Tessa Shepperson

lodger-139Lodger landlords are now obliged to check whether prospective lodgers have the ‘right to rent’.  Failure to comply will make you liable for a penalty fine of £80 or £500 for a ‘second offence’.

To help, Your Law Store has now published our Right to Rent Checklist.  This has full instructions on how you can be compliant with the law and a handy form to record the check.

Get it on its own or as part of our New Lodger forms pack.
